PME Group lab facilities are hosted at the Center for Nano Science and Technology of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Milan. The overall instrumentation is divided into several laboratories, the main are the WETLAB and the Electrical Characterization lab.

The WETLAB (in the big picture above) is a big Class 100000 clean room for device manufacturing equipped with two fomehoods for solvent, solutions and process handling and two gloveboxes with inert N2 atmosphere. For device manufacturing Microfab Jetlab 4 Inkjet printer and Fujifilm Dimatix DMP2800 Inkjet printer are used for solution testing and device printing. The printing set is completed by a Screen Printer, Solt Die coater, Bar Coater and Spray-printing setup. It is also provided with an inner Class 1000 clean room for more delicate processess like lithography.

The Electrical Characterization Lab is equipped with everything is needed for the full characterization of devices. A probe station with XYZ micromanipulators inside an inert atmosphere glovebox is used for electrical characterization together with an Agilent Semiconductor Device Analyzer. Custom setups for photodetectors measurements are present. A cryo probing station allows to make measurements with a huge range of temperatures starting from 4K. The lab is also equipped with a Jeol XXX SEM Microscope and an Agilent XXX AFM Microscope for morphological studies. A wide set of electronics instruments such as waveform generators, oscilloscopes, Lock-in amplifiers, network analyzers and voltage/current supply is also present.
